Abstract

Synthetic face images are essential in overcoming data shortages and privacy issues. This talk analyses the effect of long-term ageing on the face recognition performance simulated with state-of-the-art face age progression techniques. In particular, it is shown how the latent space of pre-trained generative adversarial networks (GANs) can be used to manipulate facial attributes, such as ageing.
