The US Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) is funding the da/sec group’s involvement in BATL. The funding is for a four year period from 01.03.2017 to 28.02.2021. The aim of this project is to develop Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) methods to identify known and unknown Presentation Attacks (PA) in a biometric recognition system for face, iris and fingerprint. The founding is part of IARPA’s Thor program.
